When you search for a food that is not in the built-in list, or scan a barcode, the search text or barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts (a public food database) to fetch nutrition info. Fonts, icons, charts and the sign-in library are loaded from third-party content networks, which can see your IP address and device type, as with any website.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or run analytics or tracking in this app.
